My personal journey with weight loss has spanned over the last 10 years. I have gone about it in several ways. Each time I feel like it helps for awhile then life takes over and am back to square one. In fact, although I do not go on any diets, I still ended up slowly increasing my weight due to menopausal and fighting a small mental battle of depression. Metabolism is slow thus eating the wrong kind of food does not help. Anyways, I found Pari and she has made a huge difference in my life. Not only is she the first person to understand about the food that I eat but she also really knows about the personal training in more depth than anyone I have met so far. Combined with her knowledge of Yoga, Pilates and other types of exercises. My challenge was too lose weight, get some strength in my body for a challenge I was embarking on in the Welsh peaks. Initially, Pari made an assessment of my ability to train. Gradually, she made adjustments to build gradual strength. Looking at food diary and adjusting it slowly was also a great help. Within a few weeks, without me mentioning, I was able to do proper sit ups. No one in the last 10 years had managed to do this. She targets all the different muscle groups slowly and with her knowledge of other things like footwear, alignment in body etc., I have learned so much more and feel my challenge this year was better than it has been in the past. I have lost 1.5 stones (10 kgs) so far. However, the massive change has been about toning up and losing inches all over my body. Namely, the biggest change has been around my middle section where I have lost a massive 9" inches, 4 ½" inches around my hips and waist has been 5½" inches all in the space of around 5 ½ months. Still wanting to lose another 2 stones. It is going to be harder now that Pari is leaving but am hoping to keep in touch with her to keep on track with her tips. By the way in my challenge, I completed 14 peaks over 3000 feet in three days. The recovery was brilliant and I was able to restart my training again in a few days.
Pari is not a personal trainer. She is a mentor, life coach, buddy, guide, bank of knowledge, expert in behaviour change and unparalleled authority in stretch work. I first started with Pari to lose post pregnancy weight after my first baby. She very quickly assessed that weight was a by-product not of binge eating alone, but genuine busy lifestyle with work and child. She made some very workable suggestions for solutions, that helped me get on track and in shape. Many niggling issues like pain in feet, post pregnancy issues, weak core etc. were carefully addressed. She helped making me healthier, happier, more energetic and not just slim. She supported me through my second pregnancy which meant I didn't go back on the gains entirely. I have been training with her online for some time now. Pari's ability to inspire, motivate, train and 'get into your mind' makes her the best personal trainer I have ever had. Thanks Pari !
I love Pari’s style of training and ethos, for me it’s really important to feel quite comfortable whilst training; with Pari, it really does feel like a family environment. Unlike a lot of conventional gyms, which can feel quite intimidating, it feels quite homely. She set realistic goals and encouraging, She also help you learn and understand what each exercise is going to do for you.
Pari - the name means Angel in Hindi. An angel who has helped me make better choices in respect to food and for life. She not only helped me lose a lot of weight but also helped me to get fitter and healthier when I was working out with her. An inspiration to many... multi talented, proud to have known and trained with Pari.
When I met Pari, there was no doubt in my mind that this person would be the best to help; her positivity is infectious. Pari has helped me achieve my goal, to lose weight and improve my overall fitness. She has always supported me in diet planning. The USP of her training is that she can tailor-make the workout to each one's capability and not let them feel guilty about it. She has reiterated many times that each one has their own capability and can work out in their own way and maybe\ give a little push to one self when they can. Other trainers would push you so hard that you may break. Also she become a friend whose advise you heed, rather than a trainer itself who maybe still a stranger to you. Also by showing that one doesn't need big machines only to workout, but can use own body to do functional training, gives respite to those who can't handle gym machines. It makes us feel comfortable in looking after own health more effectively. The diet and lifestyle suggestions help in balancing that out. The elements of functional training and adding some discipline in lifestyle within her training made the biggest impact on me. All of the above worked for me. I would love some online lessons that I don't lose the momentum even when away.
Pari's delivery style - friendly, encouraging, challenging, positive, uplifting are words that come to mind. In between chit chat giving some very useful info about exercises and diet. Her belief in an overall healthy lifestyle rather than quick fixes and shortcuts. I learnt a lot about food and nutrition as well from her- how to make sure I was having a balanced diet especially - importance of leafy greens, healthy fats, tips to reduce sugar intake. And, her awe inspiring breathing exercises where I couldn’t stop staring at ! General gyaan about life !
She takes time to understand the individual, their lifestyle , diet and specific health/fitness issues and tailor the exercise programs according to that. For instance in my case , she realised that strength & posture were my primary issues rather than weight loss and the exercises were tailored based on that. Diet plan is tailored around existing diets and do not require a complete change in one’s current eating habit. This helped to incorporate the diet recommended easily without a major lifestyle re-haul. There was a different exercise plan each week with completely new exercises and that made the classes interesting and fun. Weight/ measurement check was every alternate week and that gave enough time to incorporate diet changes , new exercise routines or get back into routine in case of any slippages. She connects more like a friend and her positivity automatically rubs off on anyone around her . I used to feel both physically and mentally rejuvenated after each of her sessions. She really helped to build a sense of accountability around staying fit and eating healthy and hitting the gym or an exercise routine doesn’t seem such a daunting task anymore.
Ten years ago, when i was probably at the lowest time of my life, I met Pari. I had just delivered my younger one and was at my heaviest/ chubbiest. I was feeling terribly sad about the excess weight i was carrying. I had stopped meeting my friends, was very asocial and kept to myself. Pari explained to me the importance of fitness and how it can build our confidence. To achieve this, i had to unlearn my existing eating habits and learn new healthier eating habits. Working out with Pari was very very painful and yet so satisfying. Because no gain without pains. She was inspiring and always motivated me. I had started seeing the difference in 2 weeks’ time. In a matter of 2 months, i had lost a good 8-10 kgs and dropped two dress sizes. I have always been thankful to Pari for being my role model, mentor, guide, and a true friend.

Simply Excellent... No other words to define how Parnita's efforts helped me. Having a hectic work schedule which involved travelling for 4 days in a week, it was difficult for a person like me to follow a particular diet or exercise schedule. Having a fitness consultant help me was last thing on my mind. That's when i connected with Parnita and during the course of discussion offered me help. I was unsure of the results as I was in India and she was in UK. But contrary to my thoughts, Parnita provided excellent guidance on my eating habits and what and how to exercise during travelling resulting in a fitter me. Trust me, there was nothing which i couldn't follow easily. Even a foodie like me was able to enjoy food as well reduce my weight.
